First look production images have been released from the world premiere of Bank of Dave The Musical, which began previews on 2 May at Lowry, Salford.

The newly released images reveal the cast in performance ahead of the show’s upcoming run at Curve, Leicester, from 20 to 30 May.

Based on the Sunday Times best-selling book, BAFTA Award-winning documentary and hit Netflix film, Bank of Dave The Musical tells the true-ish story of Burnley businessman Dave Fishwick and his fight to set up a bank for the people.

The musical stars Sam Lupton as Dave Fishwick, with Hayley Tamaddon as Nicky, Lucca Chadwick-Patel as Hugh, Claire Moore as Maureen, Lauryn Redding as Alex and Samuel Holmes as Sir Charles Denbigh and David H.

They are joined by Zachary Willis, Mark Peachey, Joni Ayton-Kent, Adam Colbeck-Dunn, Hannah Nuttall, Rosie Strobel, Minal Patel, Elliot Broadfoot, Althea Burey and Jhanaica Van Mook.

With a book and lyrics by Rob Madge and music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary, the show is directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster with choreography by Ebony Molina.

The creative team also includes set and costume designer Amy Jane Cook, musical supervisor Toby Higgins, orchestrator Tom Curran, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Tom Marshall and video designer Duncan McLean.

Produced by ROYO, Future Artists Entertainment, Curve and Lowry, the production charts Dave’s battle against the banking establishment as he takes his community-first vision from Burnley to London.
