New rehearsal images have been released ahead of a wave of new cast members joining Hadestown from 10 March 2026 at the Lyric Theatre, London.

As the multi award winning musical enters its third year in the West End, the production continues its celebrated run, now booking through to Sunday 13 December 2026.

Rachel Adedeji will join the company as Persephone. Her stage credits include Thriller Live! in the West End and on tour, Jesus Christ Superstar on UK tour and Passing Strange at the Young Vic. She is also known for her television work including Hollyoaks, Dreaming Whilst Black, Alice & Jack and Champions.

Bethany Antonia will take on the role of Eurydice. She is best known for playing Princess Baela Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, with additional screen credits including Stay Close, Get Even and Pin Cushion.

Marley Fenton will play Orpheus. He won the 2024 Black British Theatre Award for Best Supporting Male Actor in a Musical for his debut as the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz. His further credits include Alexander Hamilton in the 2025 UK tour of Hamilton and Danny Zuko in the UK tour of Grease.

Alastair Parker will play Hades. His stage career includes The Crucible at the National Theatre and West End, RSC’s The Magician’s Elephant and Matilda, as well as Oliver!, The Merchant of Venice, Honk and The Villains’ Opera.

Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe will play Hermes. Best known as the long standing Pantomime Dame at the Hackney Empire, his extensive credits include Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, Company, The Light Princess and Kiss Me, Kate, alongside numerous television appearances.

Spike Maxwell will join Melanie Bright and Lauran Rae as the Fates. Gabriela Benedetti joins Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham and Sebastian Lim Seet as the Workers. Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan Power, Lindo Shinda, Jasmine Triadi and Milly Willows join the company as Swings.

Hadestown features music, lyrics and book by Anaïs Mitchell and direction by Rachel Chavkin. Blending folk, blues, indie and New Orleans inspired jazz, the musical intertwines the tales of Orpheus and Eurydice with that of Hades and Persephone to create a poetic and deeply resonant journey to the underworld.

The creative team includes David Neumann, Rachel Hauck, Michael Krass, Bradley King, Nevin Steinberg, Jessica Paz, Liam Robinson, Michael Chorney, Todd Sickafoose, Ken Cerniglia, Maria Crocker, Tarek Merchant and George Francis. Casting is by Jacob Sparrow, with principal casting by Rob Kelly.
