Producers have released the first set of rehearsal images for Rosie, giving audiences an early look at the creative process behind the new Edwardian‑era musical. The production will receive its West End premiere in a semi‑staged gala performance at the Adelphi Theatre on Tuesday 17 March 2026.
The musical has been in development for more than a decade and tells the extraordinary true story of Miss Rosie Boote, who rose from a convent upbringing in Ireland to become a star of the Edwardian London stage. Rehearsal photography captures the company as they bring this world to life for the first time.
These new images follow the previously announced full cast, led by Lucy Thomas in the title role. The ensemble also includes Will Callan, Desmonda Cathabel, Madalena Alberto, Charles Brunton, Connor Carson, Alexander Evans, Rebecca Gilliland, Gavin James, Brady Isaacs Pearce, Jackie Pulford, Lydia Sterling, Helen Woolf, Santi Cohen and Lois Haidar. Sally Ann Triplett and Dylan Wood complete the cast.
The rehearsal room shots also highlight the creative team at work, including director and choreographer Cressida Carré, with assistant director and choreographer Charlotte Scott. The creative team features set designer Steve Howell, lighting designer Jamie Platt, sound designer Paul Smith, costume supervisor Rachel Perry, props supervisor Katie Balmforth, musical director Yshani Perinpanayagam and assistant musical director Erika Gundesen. Casting is by Sarah‑Jane Price.
With a studio cast album already released to great acclaim and several songs earning international awards, anticipation for Rosie continues to grow ahead of its West End debut.
