First look rehearsal images have been released for The Waves, which opens at Jermyn Street Theatre this month.

The production is based on Virginia Woolf’s landmark novel and is adapted by Flora Wilson Brown, with direction by Júlia Levai.

The newly shared images capture the cast in rehearsal as they bring Woolf’s experimental coming-of-age narrative to the stage.

Following six friends from childhood into adulthood, The Waves charts inner lives shaped by time, memory, solitude and connection.

The cast includes Archie Backhouse, Breffni Holahan, Pedro Leandro, Syakira Moeladi, Tom Varey and Ria Zmitrowicz.
