Cameron Mackintosh has confirmed the full London cast for Lionel Bart’s iconic musical Oliver! as the acclaimed production enters its second year at the Gielgud Theatre. Performances began in December 2024 and the show is now booking until 4 October 2026.

The original principal cast will continue with the production, including Olivier Award nominee Simon Lipkin as Fagin, Ava Brennan as Nancy, Aaron Sidwell as Bill Sikes, Aaron MacGregor as the Artful Dodger, Oscar Conlon-Morrey as Mr Bumble, Katy Secombe as Widow Corney, Stephen Matthews as Mr Sowerberry/Dr Grimwig, Jamie Birkett as Mrs Sowerberry/Mrs Bedwin and Philip Franks as Mr Brownlow.

The role of Oliver Twist will be shared by Isaac Hackett, James Miller, Thomas Newman and Jacob Sanders-Jones. The ensemble features returning and new members, alongside a talented group of young performers in Fagin’s gang.

Lionel Bart’s beloved musical, adapted from Charles Dickens’ classic novel, tells the story of orphaned Oliver Twist as he escapes the harsh Victorian workhouse and encounters the wily Fagin and his gang of pickpockets. With unforgettable songs including Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, I’d Do Anything and As Long As He Needs Me, this Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning masterpiece remains one of the most popular musicals of all time.

Produced and revised by Cameron Mackintosh, Oliver! is directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, co-directed by Jean-Pierre van der Spuy, with design by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs, sound by Adam Fisher, and video design by George Reeve. Music supervision is by Graham Hurman, with new orchestrations by Stephen Metcalfe based on the original by William David Brohn.
