The full cast has been announced for Deep-Heat Rivalry, the new comedy from Olivier Award nominee Trevor Ashley and Phil Scott, which runs at The Other Palace Studio from 11 September to 11 October 2026.
Leading the company are Sario Solomon (Grease) as Hollandaise and Jason Leigh Winter (Disney’s Hercules) as Stroganoff, with Ross Chisari (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) appearing as Puck.
They are joined by singer, actor and former The X Factor star Diana Vickers, who will play The Diva following her acclaimed performance as Gwyneth Paltrow in parody musical I Wish You Well.
Written by Ashley and Scott and directed by Ashley, Deep-Heat Rivalry is described as a wildly camp comedy that combines locker room drama, forbidden romance, parody songs and plenty of innuendo.
Loosely inspired by a hit television series, the story follows hockey rivals Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff, whose fierce sporting rivalry hides a far more complicated secret. Behind the bruises, body checks and mounting tension, the pair find themselves unexpectedly and spectacularly in love.
The production promises a blend of musical comedy, romance and chaos, with a score ranging from power ballads to party pop, alongside a healthy dose of outrageous humour.
Ashley and Scott are renowned for their high-camp theatrical style and have built a devoted following through a series of successful productions celebrating comedy, parody and queer storytelling.
The creative team includes choreographer Mitchell Harper, costume designer Angie White, set designer Reuben Speed and lighting designer Tom Boucher.
Running for 75 minutes without an interval, Deep-Heat Rivalry is recommended for audiences aged 18 and over and contains strong language, adult themes and nudity.
