Theatre Royal Drury Lane will be the home for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! in Concert, welcoming an impressive lineup of talent for performances on August 19 and 20. This event marks a return to the musical’s original West End stage, promising a spectacular revival of the classic show.

Previously announced stars Phil Dunster, known for his role in Ted Lasso, as Curly and Zizi Strallen, who enchanted audiences in Mary Poppins, as Laurey, will be joined by an exciting ensemble. Christina Bianco, celebrated for The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, will take on the role of Ado Annie, while Jordan Shaw of Les Misérables fame will play Will Parker. The cast also features five-time Olivier Award nominee and two-time winner Joanna Riding as Aunt Eller, adding further prestige to this production.

Tosh Wanogho-Maud from The Drifters Girl will portray Jud Fry, Irvine Iqbal from The Witches takes on the role of Ali Hakim, Nicole-Lily Baisden of Anything Goes will be Gertie, and Sebastien Torkia from Guys & Dolls will play Andrew. The cast is rounded out by George Beet, Ashleigh Graham, David McIntosh, Amonik Melaco, Carrie Willis, David Winters, Jessica Wright, and the London Musical Theatre Chorus.

Directed and choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Bill Deamer, Oklahoma! in Concert will feature the full original 28-piece orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennett, performed by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra under the baton of Ben Glassberg. The creative team includes sound design by Tom Marshall, set and costume design by Rebecca Brower, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and casting by Sarah-Jane Price. Production management is handled by Pete Kramer, with company stage management by Peter Barnett.

First opening on Broadway in 1943 and making its West End debut in 1947 at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Oklahoma! was the inaugural collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein. The musical boasts beloved songs like Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top, and the iconic title song Oklahoma!.
