Francesca Moody Productions has announced further casting for Tim Crouch’s An Oak Tree, which is currently running at The Other Palace and continues until 15 November 2026.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential plays of the 21st century, An Oak Tree features a different guest artist in every performance, with each performer stepping on stage alongside Crouch without having read or rehearsed the play beforehand.
Newly announced guest artists include Aysha Kala, who will appear on 5 November, Kadiff Kirwan on 21 October, Adrian Lester on 3 November, Katie Leung on 12 November and Rosie Sheehy on 7 November.
They join a previously announced line-up that includes Hammed Animashaun, Bessie Carter, Rosalie Craig, Sacha Dhawan, Dónal Finn, Josh Finan, Sean Gilder, Brian Gleeson, Suranne Jones, George Fouracres, Sophie Melville, Tom Mothersdale, Clare Perkins, Tanya Reynolds, Hugh Skinner, Reece Shearsmith, Juliet Stevenson, Rhashan Stone, Gemma Whelan, Olivia Williams and Ria Zmitrowicz.
First performed in 2005, An Oak Tree has been staged hundreds of times across more than 19 countries, with over 350 performers taking on its unique theatrical challenge. The production has become renowned for creating a completely different experience at every performance.
The production forms part of Francesca Moody Productions’ inaugural season at The Other Palace, alongside Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen and Garry Starr: Classic Penguins. The season celebrates shows that began life at the Fringe before going on to achieve international success.
Francesca Moody Productions is the Olivier Award-winning company behind Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, and continues to champion bold new work across theatre, television, film and audio.
An Oak Tree is directed by Tim Crouch, Karl James and Andy Smith, with music by Pete Gill and casting by Naomi Downham.
