Go Live Theatre has announced an exclusive online auction featuring over 400 rare and iconic Broadway window cards, launching Sunday 8 June to coincide with the 78th Tony Awards.

The collection, generously donated to the charity, will be available via eBay, with new items added daily. All proceeds will support Go Live Theatre’s mission to make theatre accessible to children and young people across the UK.

Among the highlights are window cards from original productions of Pacific Overtures, Here Where I Belong, and Merrily We Roll Along.

Also included are rare cards from musicals such as David Merrick’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which closed in previews, Legs Diamond by Peter Allen, and Paris Is Out, Donald Trump’s only Broadway producing credit.

Sita McIntosh, Chief Executive of Go Live Theatre, said:
“We are excited to present this exclusive auction of rare Broadway theatre posters—vivid reminders of unforgettable stage moments. These iconic pieces offer collectors and theatre lovers a unique chance to own a piece of Broadway history. Every bid supports our mission to bring the transformative power of theatre to children and young people throughout the UK, helping keep the curtain rising for all.”

The window cards, printed on 14” x 22” cardstock, were originally used by ticket brokers and theatres to advertise shows. They have since become highly sought-after collectables.

Collectors particularly value cards from before the 1980s, when producers began merchandising them. Cards from short-lived productions or those featuring artwork by designers like Hillary Knight, Byrd, James McMullan, and Gilbert Lesser are especially prized.

This remarkable collection offers a rare opportunity to acquire pieces of Broadway history while supporting a vital cause.

Go Live Theatre Projects (formerly Mousetrap Theatre Projects) has helped over 250,000 young people experience live theatre since 1997. The charity works with children and young people from disadvantaged or vulnerable backgrounds, including those with SEND.
