Good For Her! will return to London this summer, following a critically acclaimed run at Theatre503.
The sharp, subversive solo show will play Studio, The Other Palace from Tuesday 21 to Sunday 26 July 2026, with a press night on Wednesday 22 July.
Written and performed by Mollie Semple, Good For Her! is a darkly funny examination of ambition, womanhood and the pressures of comparison culture.
The production uses multimedia to collapse the distance between curated Instagram lives and reality on stage, turning quiet panic into live chaos.
Audiences follow Iris as she spirals through envy and self-doubt while caring for her narcissistic mother, whose failing health adds further strain.
As her compulsive doomscrolling and fixation on a former schoolmate intensify, Iris’s sense of reality begins to fracture in real time.
The play explores how women are conditioned to self-improve, self-present and compete, asking how much of yourself must be sacrificed simply to succeed.
Good For Her! is directed by Kayla Stokes and features voice performances from Jaquetta May, Al Nash, Zoe Maltby, Jordan Stratton and Sam Morris.
Writer and performer Mollie Semple said, “This play came from two things: The first was a need to challenge myself both as a writer and an actor by creating a deeply flawed character who the audience could still side with. The second was that I wanted this character to act as an externalised embodiment of the ugliest feelings we can have about ourselves. Iris is not me, her life is nothing like mine -my real mum is amazing- she is a much more troubled soul than I am, but I know that a lot of people will see just a little bit of themselves in her.”
The production has a running time of 75 minutes and is recommended for ages 13+, with content warnings including violence, bodily fluids, body image and allusion to sexual violence.
