Hackney Empire Announces Full Cast for 2025 Pantomime Cinderella

Hackney Empire has revealed the full cast and creative team for its 2025 pantomime, Cinderella, which will run from Saturday 22 November to Wednesday 31 December.

Directed by Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe, Cinderella promises a magical festive experience filled with music, laughter and sparkle.

Siobhan James will star in the title role, returning to Hackney Empire where she began her journey through its Creative Futures programme. She said, “From three years old in my first ballet show, through to dancing in ADP and now returning home as Cinderella, a divine full circle moment.”

       

Joining her is Jade Johnson as the Fairy Godmother, Nicholas McLean as Buttons, Alexandra Waite-Roberts as Oblivia the Wicked Stepmother, Kat B as Flatula, George Heyworth as Nausea, Chrissie Bhima as Dandini, and Luke Latchman as Prince Charming.

The ensemble includes Christian De-Gallerie, Alex Ferro, Vieve Hamilton, Anna Maria Barber, Eloise Simpson, Clio Tamai and Matthew Tratch.

Kat B returns for his 20th Hackney Empire pantomime, while George Heyworth reprises his role as an Ugly Sister following his appearance in Aladdin.

The creative team features Will Brenton (Writer), Steven Edis (Original Music & Songs), Cleo Pettitt (Costume Designer & Design Overview), Wendy Gadian (Musical Director), Michael Ward (Choreographer), Tim Mitchell (Lighting Designer), and Richard Bell (Sound Designer).

Jo Hemmant, Hackney Empire Executive Director and CEO, said: “It feels very special to be announcing the full cast and creative team for Cinderella, which will be my last pantomime as Executive Director here. Hackney pantomime has always been about joy, community and world-class talent on our stage, and this year will be no exception. Cinderella promises to be a truly magical finale to my time at Hackney Empire.”
