Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® have announced the full cast and creative team for their riotous new production of Hamlet, celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary.

The production will run at Leicester Square Theatre from Thursday 7 August to Sunday 21 September, before embarking on a UK tour.

Described as “the story of a privileged, whiny lad who goes a bit bonkers and does some stabbings,” Hamlet gets the Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® treatment, blending classical theatre with unpredictable drunken chaos.

Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® has become a global phenomenon, performing to sell-out crowds from Edinburgh to Australia and Boston to Southend. Their unique format features a rotating cast of classically trained actors, with one cast member genuinely inebriated each night.

“15 years ago, Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® set out on the world’s longest bar crawl and have been staggering from theatre to theatre ever since,” said the company.
