Heathers the Musical will return to London this summer for a strictly limited run of 52 performances, opening the brand new Arts at Marble Arch theatre.

The smash-hit show will play from 9 July to 22 August 2026 at the 594-seat venue, which serves as the temporary home of the Arts Theatre during redevelopment works.

Following record-breaking seasons in London, New York and Melbourne, the cult favourite will launch the new space situated next to Marble Arch, marking a significant moment for the West End.

Jenny Seagrove, Chairperson of the Bill Kenwright Group, said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Louis Hartshorn and Brian Hook and the whole team at the Arts at Marble Arch to present Heathers the Musical as the inaugural show at their fantastic new theatre in the heart of the West End.

Heathers celebrates having the courage to speak up, speak out and be heard – themes that resonate deeply with many of the audience seeing the show.

I can’t wait for the doors of Westerberg High to open on 9 July and for class to be in session this summer. Colour me stoked!”

Set at Westerberg High, the musical follows Veronica Sawyer as she navigates the dangerous hierarchy of popularity alongside the ruthless Heathers, until a mysterious new arrival changes everything.

Based on the 1989 cult film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers the Musical first premiered in Los Angeles in 2013 before transferring to New York and later being reimagined for London in 2018.

The production has since enjoyed three hit West End runs and multiple UK and Ireland tours, winning the 2019 WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Musical and gaining further popularity through its 2022 streaming release.

Directed by Andy Fickman, the creative team also includes choreographer Gary Lloyd, designer David Shields, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Dan Samson, and music supervisors Jeremy Wootton and Will Joy. Casting for the London run is yet to be announced.

Following its London season, Heathers the Musical will tour extensively across the UK and Ireland throughout autumn 2026 and spring 2027, visiting venues including Leeds, Nottingham, Dublin, Edinburgh and Liverpool.
