In Pieces has extended its forthcoming London run by five weeks after the first week of performances sold out in just two hours.
Producers Regular People and RJG Productions have confirmed that Joey Contreras’ musical will now run at The Other Palace until 21 March 2027, with all six weeks of performances now on sale. The press night is scheduled for 16 February 2027.
The production marks the first fully staged version of In Pieces, following sold-out staged concert presentations at The Other Palace and New York’s Joe’s Pub in 2026.
Written and composed by Joey Contreras, In Pieces is a contemporary musical exploring love, heartbreak and self-discovery through the interconnected stories of six characters across three stages of life.
The musical has built a substantial international following, with its digital live-capture concert purchased 20,000 times across 151 countries and viewed more than 100,000 times. Its deluxe highlights album, released with Broadway Records, has also surpassed 70 million streams.
Martha Geelan returns to direct the production after helming the concert presentations. The creative team also includes choreographer Sam Wilson Freeman, music supervisor Brian Russell Carey and casting director Harry Blumenau CDG CSA.
The production is produced by Andrew Patino and Jacob Stuckelman for Regular People, alongside Rebecca Gwyther for RJG Productions.
Casting for the fully staged production will be announced at a later date.
Described as “a love story about the people you don’t end up with”, In Pieces features a pop-driven score and follows friends, family members and lovers as they confront old wounds, unresolved feelings and the enduring impact of past relationships.
Since its debut, the musical has been performed internationally and developed a passionate fanbase through both live and digital presentations.
