The initial cast has been revealed for the major UK tour of The Full Monty, marking the 30th anniversary of the iconic film in 2027.
Opening in Sheffield on 15 January 2027, the production will tour nationwide through to July, bringing Simon Beaufoy’s beloved story back to the stage.
Kevin Clifton will star as Gaz, joined by Stewart Wright as Dave and James Gaddas as Gerald.
They are joined by Ben Onwukwe as Horse, Jon-Paul Bell as Guy, and Zrey Sholapurkar as Lomper, with further casting to be announced.
Directed by Michael Gyngell, the production features choreography and intimacy direction by Ian West, with design by Jasmine Swan and lighting by Andrew Exeter.
The Full Monty follows a group of out-of-work men determined to reclaim their pride in the face of hardship, culminating in a bold and unforgettable act of defiance.
The story remains strikingly relevant, reflecting themes of economic struggle and resilience that continue to resonate with audiences today.
Audiences can expect a mix of humour and heart, alongside the iconic music of the 1990s, in a production that celebrates friendship and courage.
The extensive tour will visit venues across the UK including Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow and London’s New Wimbledon Theatre.
