Initial casting has been revealed for the return of Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical, as Secret Cinema brings the hit production back following its sold-out 2025 run.

Opening at Evolution London in Battersea Park on 22 July, the strictly limited engagement runs until 13 September 2026.

Returning to their roles are Stephanie Costi as Sandy and Lucy Penrose as Rizzo, joined by Giórgios Micheldes as Danny and Archangelo Ciulla as Kenickie, with further casting to be announced.

The immersive production transforms the beloved 1978 film into a live theatrical event, combining performance, live music, and audience interaction across multiple spaces.

Audiences are invited to step into the world of Rydell High, exploring iconic locations including Frosty Palace, The Autoshop, and The Carnival, while participating in activities such as cheerleading, choir practice, and 1950s diner experiences.

The production features classic songs including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’, and We Go Together, performed by a live band alongside the cast.

Directed by Matthew Costain, the creative team also includes Jennifer Weber as choreographer, Tom Rogers as set designer, Howard Hudson as lighting designer, Gareth Fry as sound designer, and Ian William Galloway as video designer.

Due to popular demand, this year’s run will include expanded Roam and Return seating options, allowing audiences to explore the experience before returning to dedicated seating areas.

The production has received widespread critical acclaim, with reviews including ā€œā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜… ā€˜Full of unforgettable moment, after unforgettable momentā€™ā€ from The Sun and ā€œā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜… ā€˜A joyful, communal experience. The songs are all showstoppersā€™ā€ from WhatsOnStage.
