Award-winning theatre company Wright&Grainger is set to bring their international sensation THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS to London for a limited engagement at the Underbelly Festival in Cavendish Square. Running from 10th to 21st September 2024, this electrifying show offers a unique blend of mythology, modern storytelling, and live music, creating a communal experience unlike any other.

Described as “a gig at the crossroads of mythology and real life,” THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS weaves together four interlinked stories performed as a 12-track album. The show combines big beats, heavy basslines, soaring melodies, and heart-stopping spoken word to explore what we seek outside ourselves and what we might discover in those around us. Wright&Grainger invite the audience—the gods—to engage in a powerful, uplifting experience where myth meets the everyday.

Performed on three stages that surround the audience, the show immerses viewers in its world, creating an inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to dance, sing, and connect. The production follows a string of highly acclaimed runs in Australia and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it received rave reviews for its innovative approach to storytelling and live performance.

On their return to London, Wright&Grainger said, “We couldn’t be happier to be heading back to the big smoke with THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS. Earlier this year we had a blast running for a packed weekend in the heart of Soho in Underbelly’s Boulevard. Now, heading a stone’s throw to their festival in Cavendish Square feels like a real treat. THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS is a huge show about community, about collective euphoria, and about a galvanising piece of gig theatre.”

The duo, known for their contemporary adaptations of ancient tales, have captivated audiences worldwide with shows like ORPHEUS, HELIOS, and THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS. Their innovative storytelling, combined with live music, has earned them accolades across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, with performances at prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House and Theatr Clwyd.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a show that blends the ancient with the contemporary in a thrilling, immersive experience. Join the gods this September at Cavendish Square and prepare for an evening of unforgettable live theatre.

Wright&Grainger make hugely acclaimed adaptations of ancient stories, bringing them bang up to date told through soaring live music and heart stopping spoken word.
