Review It Happened in Key West

It Happened in Key West at Charing Cross Theatre c. Darren Bell

Producer Jeremiah James of Outside The Box LLC in association with Producer Cameron Smith will release the Original London Cast recording of It Happened in Key West on November 5th on all digital and streaming formats.

The show has book, music and lyrics by Jill Santoriello who will co-produce the album. Santoriello’s “A Tale of Two Cities” was an Outer Critics Circle nominee for Outstanding Broadway Musical, with book and additional lyrics by Jason Huza, and book and original concept by Jeremiah James.

It Happened in Key The world premiere production is currently finishing out its limited run in London’s West End at the Charing Cross Theatre until August 18th, 2018.

       

It Happened in Key has orchestrations by Robert Felstein.  The band includes Music Director Andrew Hopkins (conductor/keys), Jack Cherry (electric & acoustic bass), Kristal Hamson (flute/clarinet/sax) Oliver Pooley (drums/percussion), Tom Turner (keys) and Miriam Wakeling (cello).

The album was recorded at a matinee performance of the show on July 31 at the Charing Cross Theatre.
