Following critically acclaimed, sold-out runs at Southwark Playhouse Borough and Sheffield Theatres, KENREX will transfer to The Other Palace this winter, running from 3 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.

A gripping true crime thriller infused with a live Americana soundtrack, KENREX is co-written by Jack Holden and Ed Stambollouian, with original music performed live by John Patrick Elliott.

Set in Missouri in 1981, KENREX tells the unbelievable true story of Ken Rex McElroy, a small-town bully whose reign of terror included theft, intimidation, assault, and attempted murder. When the justice system fails to hold him accountable, the community of Skidmore takes matters into their own hands.

Jack Holden and Ed Stambollouian said: “We are true crime fanatics and KENREX is an ode to the genre. We can’t wait to share this thrilling story with even more people.”

Aria Entertainment added: “I am extremely proud that KENREX is having another outing in London. To work on this piece has been an incredible and rewarding experience and I can’t wait to bring it to more audiences.”
