The UK premiere production of Jane Eyre A Musical has released a new EP and accompanying music video ahead of its opening at Southwark Playhouse Elephant later this summer.
Released on Westway Music, Highlights From The UK Premiere Cast features three songs from the musical by John Caird and Paul Gordon, based on Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel.
The EP includes the newly released track ‘Sirens’, performed by Ashley Gilmour as Rochester and Charlie Burn as Jane, alongside ‘Sweet Liberty’ and ‘Secret Soul’.
One of the key emotional moments in Act I, ‘Sirens’ takes place after Jane and Rochester have formed a deep connection, as Rochester struggles with the intensity of his feelings and the secrets he carries from his past.
The music video for ‘Sirens’ has been released alongside the EP and is now available to watch online.
With music and lyrics by Paul Gordon and additional lyrics by John Caird, the musical will make its long-awaited UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from 28 August to 24 October 2026.
Charlie Burn and Ashley Gilmour lead the cast, joined by Claire Greenway, Melad Hamidi, Connor Wood, Jonathan Andrew Hume, Izzi Levine, Hannah Lindsey, Isabelle Methven, Gemma Page, Eve Shanu-Wilson, Poppy Jason and Emily-Rose Samuel.
The production will be co-directed by John Caird, best known for his work on Les Misérables, alongside Broadway performer Megan McGinnis.
The creative team also includes choreographer Georgina Lamb, set and costume designer Morgan Large, sound designer Andrew Johnson, lighting designer James Whiteside, musical director and supervisor Ben Kubiak, and casting director Sarah-Jane Price.
Originally premiering in Toronto in 1996 before transferring to Broadway in 2000, where it received five Tony Award nominations, Jane Eyre A Musical returns in a new production marking the show’s 30th anniversary year.
