Jenna Russell to Join Christina Modestou as a Special Guest in A Night at the Musicals

Jenna Russell will join Christina Modestou as a live special guest for A Night at the Musicals on Sunday, 25 October 2020 at 7pm. This performance will be live streamed while it plays to a socially distanced audience in The Large using a multi-camera set-up, broadcast globally with unlimited £10 tickets available up until 18 October 2020, increasing to £15 from 19 October 2020 during show week.

There is only one chance to catch the performance; it will not be available to catch-up with afterwards. There are live socially distanced audience tickets available to purchase for £22 for those who can make it to the venue.

Jenna Russell is an Olivier Award-winning, Tony Award-nominated British actress who has starred in some of the most celebrated musicals in the UK and Broadway. Previously at Southwark Playhouse, she appeared as Little Edie in Grey Gardens opposite Sheila Hancock (2016). Recent theatre credits include Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County (Menier Chocolate Factory), Helen in Fun Home (Young Vic) and Mephistopheles in Dr Faustus (Duke of York’s Theatre).

       

Original star of Six, Christina Modestou, will bring an evening of your favourite musical theatre tunes. Featuring music from all-time favourite musicals: West Side Story, Cabaret, Funny Girl, We Will Rock You, In the Heights, Waitress, Six and many more.

Christina’s powerful and versatile voice will take you through the musical ages from the early unforgettable classics to today’s absolute belters with a few musical mashups and surprises in between.

Christina will also be sharing the stage with some very special previously announced guests:

Waylon Jacobs (Hamilton, Memphis, We Will Rock You) will join Christina on Sunday, 11 October.

Oliver Tompsett (& Juliet, Kinky Boots, Guys and Dolls) will join Christina on Sunday, 18 October.

Renée Lamb (Six, Ain’t Misbehavin’) will join Christina on Sunday, 1 November.

       

The government has given guidance that indoor performances with social distancing are allowed to go ahead. However, patrons can book tickets with the knowledge that if the production is unable to go ahead for any reason there will be full refunds.
