The Roundhouse has announced that Jenny Mollica, currently CEO of English National Opera (ENO), will become its next Chief Executive Officer.
She will succeed Marcus Davey CBE, who steps down after 27 years leading the iconic London venue. Marcus will remain in post until 2026 to ensure a smooth handover.
Jenny Mollica has been instrumental in shaping ENO’s vision and expanding its reach nationally. Under her leadership, ENO Engage has grown to impact over 100,000 people annually through creative programmes in schools, hospitals, and community spaces.
Previously, Jenny spent more than a decade at the Barbican and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she developed innovative cross-arts programmes and festivals.
Jenny Mollica said:
“I am honoured to be entrusted with leading the Roundhouse as its next Chief Executive. The opportunity to shape the future of an organisation that I have long admired for its deep roots in artistic innovation, social impact and sector-leading youth engagement is, quite simply, too irresistible a calling not to answer.”
Simon Turner, Chairman of the Roundhouse, commented:
“My fellow Trustees and I are thrilled and deeply proud to announce Jenny’s appointment as our new Chief Executive. We greatly admire the exceptional leadership she has demonstrated and the pioneering change she has brought to ENO.”
Marcus Davey added:
“I’ve known Jenny for many years, and I couldn’t be more delighted to be handing over the reins of the incredible Roundhouse organisation to someone I have long admired.”
Looking ahead, Jenny will lead the Roundhouse in expanding its youth arts programmes and building on the success of the Three Sixty Festival, while continuing to champion emerging talent.
