RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite Kate Butch will reunite with award-winning comedian Crudi Dench this autumn for Drag Queens vs Aliens, the long-awaited third chapter in the cult comedy horror franchise following the success of Drag Queens vs Zombies and Drag Queens vs Vampires.
Playing a limited three-night engagement at Underbelly Boulevard from 28 to 30 October 2026, the new production sees Kate and Crudi setting their sights on Las Vegas stardom before a close encounter of the extraterrestrial kind throws their plans into chaos.
The latest adventure promises an alien invasion, intergalactic mayhem and the duo’s biggest challenge yet as they attempt to save the world while pursuing international fame.
Written by Eleanor Mason, a Funny Women shortlisted writer, and Matt Stallworthy, whose work has featured on BBC Radio 4 Extra, the show combines original musical numbers, audience interaction and drag-fuelled parody. The pair previously co-wrote Tuckshop’s West End pantomime Snow White, which received four-star reviews from Gay Times.
The creative team is hoping to build on the success of the previous productions. Drag Queens vs Zombies won the Best Comedy Show award at the Buxton Fringe, while Drag Queens vs Vampires was recognised among the Top 20 best-reviewed comedy shows of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2023.
As part of the celebrations, audiences will also have the opportunity to revisit the first two entries in the trilogy. Haus of Dench will revive Drag Queens vs Zombies for two performances on 15 and 22 October 2026, while Drag Queens vs Vampires returns on 16 and 23 October 2026.
Fans can also purchase a special Trilogy Ticket, offering access to all three productions at a discounted price.
Meanwhile, Drag Queens vs Zombies received several accolades, including the Buxton Fringe Best Comedy Award, and nominations for the Standing Ovation Award and the OffFest Theatre Festival Award.
