Killer Queen Coming to OVO Arena

Killer Queen – a tribute to Queen presented by MRC Presents, will play London’s OVO Arena Wembley this December.

Queen and Wembley. The dream combination of every Queen fan. So Killer Queen are delighted to announce that they will be bringing their world acclaimed tribute to Queen to OVO Arena Wembley on 7th December 2022.

It’s a very personal dream come true for lead singer Patrick Myers.

“Whether it’s the Stadium or the Arena, Wembley is such a big part of the Queen legend. I was too young to see that last concert. I still have that aching feeling when I watch footage of the show. I just want to be there. That feeling spurred me on to form Killer Queen back at the dawn of tributes.” said Patrick Myers

Tickets for the Killer Queen – a tribute to Queen at London’s OVO Arena Wembley will go on general sale on Monday 6th May 2022.

Lead singer Patrick Myers continues: “We’ve gone on to sell out the same arenas as Queen all over world but never Wembley. So for me this is a surreal dream come true. I’d love to tell the 14 year old me that Wembley would actually happen one day… but in a magical way I could never have imagined.”

“So we’re going to give it everything we’ve got! The lights, the visuals, the pyrotechnics and passion are all part of that unique, electric atmosphere of a Queen gig. But for us and everyone else there that night it’s going to be the biggest heartfelt celebration of Freddie, Roger, Brian and John’s beautiful and extraordinary songs. Just to be a part of the whole crowd swaying with their arms in the air at Wembley will be something to treasure. We’ll all feel like champions of the world.”

Killer Queen’s first public performances were at London University, following in the footsteps of the real Queen, who had performed there decades before.

Killer Queen’s popularity in the United Kingdom grew to the point where they were able to secure a residency at London’s Strand Theatre, attracting nationwide BBC coverage – as the first tribute to have a show in the West End.
