PQA VENUES @Riddle’s Court (venue 277) is pleased to announce a free Q&A session with two of the UK’s top stage and screen writers, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 August from 7.00 – 7.45pm.

As well as talking about their careers, the pair will discuss their new play Early Birds, which tells the incredible yet true story of the birth of one of the nation’s favourite sit-coms,Birds of a Feather (playing at PQA VENUES @Riddle’s Court until 27 August).

Alongside Birds of a Feather, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran are perhaps best-known for their television classics Shine on Harvey Moon, The New Statesman and Goodnight Sweetheart.  Theatre writing credits include Dreamboats and Petticoats and Save The Last Dance For Me.

This free Q&A is for fans of the show, up-and-coming stage and screen writers and those interested in understanding what made Birds of a Feather one of the most-loved and longest-running sitcoms on British TV as it enters its thirtieth year as a TV comedy classic.

This event is free and non-ticketed (first come, first served). For more information visit: https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/early-birds-q-a-with-laurence-marks-and-maurice-gran. The venue is fully accessible.
