Lenny Henry will embark on a major UK tour in 2026 with Still At Large, marking his first nationwide live tour in 16 years.
The new show blends stand‑up, storytelling and open conversation, offering audiences a fresh insight into the experiences, ideas and creative sparks that continue to shape his five‑decade career.
The tour begins at Shrewsbury’s Theatre Severn on 5 May before travelling to venues across the country and concluding at London’s Hackney Empire on 3 November.
Reflecting on the announcement, Lenny Henry said: “I’m so excited to bring Still At Large to the theatres around the UK. It’s good to be back on the road with my new tour because I’m this Lenny now – I’m not 16 anymore, it’s like I’ve shed 15 skins since then! I’m going to come on stage and tell some stories and then the audience can ask questions, too. Come and join me – you never know, you might learn something new.”
Across the tour, Henry will revisit the defining moments of his career, from The Lenny Henry Show and Chef! to acclaimed dramatic roles in Othello, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Every Brilliant Thing. Audiences can also expect reflections on his co‑creation of Comic Relief and his work as an author of children’s books including Tyrone’s Cool Crown and The Boy With Wings.
The show promises big laughs and heartfelt moments, celebrating the many versions of Lenny Henry that have become part of British cultural life.
