London City Ballet has unveiled its ambitious plans for a 20-venue UK and European tour, including seasons at Sadler’s Wells Theatre and the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, as part of the Royal Ballet and Opera’s 2025/26 season.

The tour will cover eight UK venues and international stops in Spain, Portugal, Greece, and an eight-venue tour of France. The company will welcome 15 dancers from 10 nationalities, ranging from emerging artists to experienced principal dancers.

Returning to the company are Alina Cojocaru, Alejandro Virelles, Joseph Taylor, Nicholas Vavrečka, Arthur Wille, Jimin Kim, and Cira Robinson. New additions include Samuele Barzaghi, Yuria Isaka, Sahel Flora Pascual, Constance Devernay-Laurence, Josue Gomez, Pilar Ortega, Siméon Sorange-Félicité, and Lydia Rose Hough.

Alina Cojocaru will return as a guest artist, performing at Sadler’s Wells, Bath Theatre Royal, Birmingham Rep, and Oxford New Theatre.

The programme for Sadler’s Wells and the UK tour will feature Pictures at an Exhibition by Alexei Ratmansky, Haieff Divertimento by George Balanchine, Consolations & Liebestraum by Liam Scarlett, and a new creation by Florent Melac titled Soft Shore. The inaugural season at the Linbury Theatre will include the revival and London premiere of Jerome Robbins’ Quiet City and a new work by British choreographer Tasha Chu.
