Cameron Mackintosh and Disney Theatrical Group have announced that international recording artist and actress Lyn Paul will join the UK and Ireland tour of the multi award-winning musical Mary Poppins as Bird Woman, beginning Tuesday 18 November 2025.

Lyn Paul will make her debut in Mary Poppins at Milton Keynes Theatre, before continuing to the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff (3 December 2025 – 10 January 2026) and Liverpool Empire (14 – 31 January 2026).

Patti Boulaye will continue her celebrated run as Bird Woman through performances at Birmingham Hippodrome, Mayflower Theatre Southampton, Sunderland Empire, and Milton Keynes Theatre until Sunday 16 November 2025.

Leading the cast are acclaimed Australian performers Stefanie Jones and Jack Chambers, reprising their roles as Mary Poppins and Bert. The duo previously starred in the Australian production and opened the UK and Ireland tour in Bristol last year to widespread acclaim.

Lyn Paul is best known as a member of The New Seekers, whose Grammy-nominated hit “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)” sold over 28 million copies. Her other chart-topping singles include “Beg, Steal or Borrow” and “You Won’t Find Another Fool Like Me”.

She has been voted the definitive Mrs Johnston and performed the role for over 23 years. Her other stage credits include Calendar Girls, Cabaret, and Taboo, with TV appearances in Emmerdale and Holby City.
