Park Theatre will transform into the town of Graveside this spring as Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 returns with its most ambitious immersive experience yet.

The hit fundraising production runs from 11 May to 27 June 2026 and will feature a different celebrity guest sheriff at every performance, each performing completely unrehearsed with lines fed to them through an earpiece.

Set in a lawless Wild West world, Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 will take over the entire Park Theatre building for the first time. Audiences will step straight into Graveside from the moment they arrive, with themed bars, live music, roaming characters and interactive scenes unfolding throughout the venue.

Seven of the returning celebrity guest sheriffs have been confirmed: Gillian Anderson, Emma Thompson, Adrian Dunbar, Jim Broadbent, Sandi Toksvig, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Hugh Bonneville. Sir Ian McKellen also returns, lending his voice to the production.

The core company includes Toby Baddeley, Caroline Deverill, Gabriel Fogarty‑Graveson, Iona Fraser, Edward Kaye, Matthew Romain and Susanna Wolff.

The production remains a vital fundraiser for Park Theatre, which receives no regular public subsidy. Proceeds support the day‑to‑day running of the building, the development of new work and the theatre’s community and education programmes.

This year’s event expands the immersive world further, with Park90 becoming The Last Chance Saloon for Band A+ and cabaret ticket holders, offering themed drinks, nibbles, live music and mock gambling. A community chorus will roam the building, and audiences are encouraged to dress up and explore.

Inside the Park200 auditorium, cabaret‑style seating and a pre‑show welcome from the house band will bring audiences closer to the action. Songs, sing‑alongs and two on‑stage bartender roles will allow spectators to join the world of the show directly.

Jez Bond, co‑writer and director, and Artistic Director of Park Theatre said, “Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] has become a vital fundraiser for Park Theatre, helping to keep the building open, accessible and creatively ambitious. For 2026, we wanted to honour that by going all in – turning the entire theatre into a living, breathing Wild West town and inviting audiences to play along. It’s joyful, anarchic theatre with a serious purpose behind it: raising crucial funds while giving people an unforgettable night out. No two performances will ever be the same.”

Further celebrity guest sheriffs will be announced.
