London’s hit theatrical dining experience Mamma Mia! The Party has extended its booking period through to 28 November 2027, with more than 120,000 new tickets now on sale for performances at The O2.
Created and executive produced by Björn Ulvaeus, the immersive production has welcomed more than 800,000 guests since opening in London in August 2019, attracting audiences from 110 countries and delivering over 1,500 performances.
Set on the Greek island of Skopelos, Mamma Mia! The Party combines live theatre, a four-course Greek meal and an ABBA-filled disco into a single evening of entertainment. Guests are transported to Nikos’ family-run taverna, where a romantic story unfolds around them while they dine, before the night concludes with a celebration featuring some of ABBA’s best-loved songs, including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Waterloo.
The extension announcement comes as the production continues to be one of London’s most popular immersive experiences, blending live performance with dining and audience participation.
The current cast includes X Factor winner Sam Bailey as Debbie, a role she will continue to play until April 2027.
She is joined by Kelly Aaron, Constantine Andronikou, Oscar Balmaseda, Marianne Benedict, AJ Bentley, Claudia Bradley, Inês Fernandez, Tom Fothergill, Elena Gibson, Deschenes Graham, Allie Ho Chee, Sophie Holdsworth, Gabriella-Rose Merchant, James Mark McLoughlin, Kimberly Powell, Andy Rose, Dawn Spence and Rebecca Stenhouse.
The London production features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, with some songs co-written by Stig Anderson. The story is by Calle Norlén, Roine Söderlundh and Björn Ulvaeus, with an English book by Sandi Toksvig.
The production is co-directed and choreographed by Stacey Haynes and Roine Söderlundh, with set design by Bengt Fröderberg, lighting by Patrick Woodroffe, sound design by Gareth Owen and costume design by Annsofi Nyberg.
Since its debut, Mamma Mia! The Party has established itself as one of London’s leading entertainment experiences, offering audiences an evening of theatre, food and music inspired by the timeless songs of ABBA.
