We're Going on a Bear Hunt Live

On Thursday 12 July Michael Rosen, the author of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt will be hosting a workshop at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue.

Entrance to the workshop is included with a ticket to the 11am performance of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt Live on Stage on Thursday 12 July and will take place in the auditorium after the show.  The event will be followed by a book signing.

Michael Rosen says of the workshop, “I will run a workshop where parents, carers and children can make up their own kinds of ‘hunts’. I will invite them to make up any kind of hunt or search or quest for anything; animal, human, vegetable…a meal, a hero, a hope! But – Oh no! – what are the obstacles? And when we go ‘through’ them…what’s the noise? and what happens when we get there? What will it do? What will we do? And how do we get home? The same way or another way? Yes, then children and parents and carers can then get us all to join in with their brand new and amazing ‘hunts’.

I am so looking forward to this. We’re going to have a great time. In fact, ‘We’re going on a great-time hunt! What a beautiful day!”

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt celebrates its 10th year of touring with a summer season at the Lyric Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue from 4 July – 2 September.
