Little Angel Theatre Unveils Magical Autumn/Winter 2025 Season

Little Angel Theatre has announced a vibrant and heartwarming Autumn/Winter 2025 season, packed with returning favourites, festive treats, and touring productions that bring beloved picture books to life.

Highlights include the return of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Wow! Said the Owl, ME…, and The Storm Whale, alongside festive shows like Rosie Robin and the Christmas Post and Scruff’s Christmas Adventure.

Artistic Director Samantha Lane and Executive Director Peta Swindall said:
“We’re incredibly proud of this exciting and vibrant season, which celebrates the magic of puppetry and storytelling for all ages, particularly through bringing much-loved picture books to life on our stages. There’s something special for every family to enjoy. We’re also thrilled to take our work beyond our theatre walls… It’s a season full of joy, connection and imagination – and we can’t wait to share it.”

       

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

Running 6 September – 8 November 2025 at Little Angel Theatre
Michael Rosen said:
“What a treat! Bear Hunt is back. I love this beautiful, funny, moving show with endearing puppets and great music. It’s a show that speaks to young and old about getting through things that might be hard.”

Wow! Said the Owl

Running 13 September – 8 November 2025 at Little Angel Studios

Running 22 November 2025 – 25 January 2026 at Little Angel Studios

Touring Highlights

A Squash and a Squeeze tours the UK before a festive run at Leicester Square Theatre (4 – 23 December).
The Paper Dolls begins its UK tour at Chelmsford Theatre on 19 September, ending at Hullabaloo in December.

Festive Shows

Rosie Robin and the Christmas Post runs 13 – 24 December at The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead.
Scruff’s Christmas Adventure runs 4 December – 4 January at Tobacco Factory, Bristol.

       

Suitcase Theatre

Bobbin’s Big Adventure, a new interactive puppet show, will tour five Kent prisons in October, continuing Little Angel’s commitment to reaching underserved audiences.
