Broadway and West End stars Rachel Tucker and Ayana George have joined the cast of Midnight, the bold new original musical created by Todrick Hall.

The workshop presentation of Midnight will run for seven performances only at Sadler’s Wells East from Tuesday 11 to Saturday 15 November 2025.

Rachel Tucker, known for her acclaimed roles in Wicked, Come From Away, and We Will Rock You, will play Charlotte. Ayana George, celebrated for her performance as Katherine Jackson in the Original Broadway Cast of MJ The Musical, and her vocal work with Kanye West and Kirk Franklin, will take on the role of Ethel.

Midnight is set in America’s South during the nineteenth century and explores themes of empathy, unity, and love in a divided world. Written and directed by Todrick Hall, the sung-through score blends gospel, R&B, classical, pop, rock, and musical theatre influences.

Following successful private presentations in London and New York earlier this year, this marks the first time Midnight will be seen by a paying audience.
