National Theatre has announced four new titles joining National Theatre at Home this spring, expanding the platform’s catalogue of world-class productions for global audiences.
End will arrive on 24 March 2026, followed by Ballet Shoes on 31 March 2026. Mrs. Warren’s Profession joins the service on 14 April 2026, with Audra McDonald: I Am What I Am (Director’s Cut) available from 28 April 2026.
Audra McDonald’s concert, recorded live at the London Palladium, will showcase classic Broadway repertoire including “I Am What I Am,” “Cornet Man,” “Summertime,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” and a never-before-seen performance of “Rose’s Turn” from Gypsy. The 40-piece London Musical Theatre Orchestra accompanies McDonald under musical director Andy Einhorn.
Imelda Staunton and her daughter Bessie Carter appear together for the first time in Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession. Presented by Sonia Friedman Productions and filmed in the West End, the production reunites Staunton with director Dominic Cooke to explore themes of morality, independence and social change.
Clive Owen stars as Alfie and Saskia Reeves as Julie in End, the concluding play in David Eldridge’s trilogy on love and relationships. Directed by Lyric Hammersmith Theatre Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan, the play continues the intimate storytelling established in Beginning and Middle.
Ballet Shoes, directed by Katy Rudd, brings Noel Streatfeild’s much-loved novel to the Olivier stage in a new adaptation by Kendall Feaver. The production has been described as a “perfect joy”.
