The National Theatre has announced that its smash-hit production of Inter Alia will transfer to Broadway this autumn for a strictly limited season.

Suzie Miller’s new play will run at the Music Box Theatre from 10 November 2026 until 21 February 2027, with an opening performance on 1 December.

Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Rosamund Pike will reprise her critically acclaimed role as Jessica Parks, marking her Broadway debut.

The production is directed by Justin Martin, following its success at the National Theatre and its current sell-out West End run at Wyndham’s Theatre, which continues until 20 June 2026.

Inter Alia is currently nominated for Best New Play at this year’s Olivier Awards, with Pike also nominated for Best Actress. Pike recently won the 2026 Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Actress for her performance.

Playwright Suzie Miller said, “I am so excited to be returning to Broadway alongside my Prima Facie director, the brilliant Justin Martin, with my new play Inter Alia. This National Theatre production is currently playing on London’s West End, featuring Rosamund Pike who is nothing short of magnificent in the lead role.”

Rosamund Pike commented, “What surprises me night after night performing this play is how audience members tell me they recognise themselves on stage. Men find themselves moved and confronted, women declare themselves seen, and parents and children tell me the story has led them to vital conversations.”

Set in London’s Crown Court, Inter Alia tells the story of maverick judge Jessica Parks as she confronts the balance between motherhood, career and modern masculinity within a flawed justice system.

The play premiered in the National Theatre’s Lyttelton Theatre in 2025, where it received critical and box office acclaim, and has since been seen by more than 450,000 people worldwide through live performances and National Theatre Live cinema broadcasts.
