A brand-new British theatre company has just launched, promising to take the most iconic works by the world’s most celebrated playwright to new audiences all over the globe. New English Shakespeare Company brings its own contemporary and musical twist to Shakespeare’s most beloved plays. It will celebrate excellence in theatre, enlisting the best of British theatrical talent to create vibrant, inventive and accessible productions.

New English Shakespeare Company launches with its production of Much Ado About Nothing directed by acclaimed director Derek Bond, with scenic and costume design by James Perkins. The production will premiere at Dubai Opera from 25 September 2019, before embarking on an international tour.
Much Ado About Nothing sees a company of eleven talented actor-musicians bring Shakespeare’s wittiest comedy to life in a vibrant, funny and profoundly moving portrayal that places language and music at the heart of the show.
