New production images have been released for Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution as the acclaimed London County Hall production welcomes its sixteenth cast and enters its tenth year in the capital.

Produced by Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions, and directed by Lucy Bailey, the immersive courtroom drama continues its celebrated run inside the Chamber Room at London County Hall and is now booking until 19 September 2027.

The newly released images showcase the latest company, led by Matthew McGivern as Leonard Vole and Sophie Craig as Romaine Vole, both making their West End debuts in the production.

They are joined by Jo Stone-Fewings as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Crispin Redman as Mr Mayhew, Jude Owusu as Mr Myers QC and David Shaw-Parker as Mr Justice Wainwright. Completing the company are Sahar Awad, Philip Battley, William Baylis, Siobhan Bevan, Garon Akbar Clark, Michael Cusick, Anthony Ofoegbu, Sean Paul Jenkinson, Io Munro, Caroline Partridge, Tom Richardson and Tristan Rivelle.

Since opening at London County Hall in 2017, Witness for the Prosecution has captivated audiences with its tale of justice, passion and betrayal. Set within a fully realised courtroom, the production places audiences at the heart of the action as they follow the trial of Leonard Vole, accused of murder in cold blood.

The release of the new production images comes ahead of the opening of Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery at the British Library on 30 October 2026. The major exhibition, marking 50 years since Christie’s death, will explore the celebrated author’s life and work and will feature items from Witness for the Prosecution.

The production received Best Revival nominations at both the Olivier Awards and WhatsOnStage Awards in 2018 and remains one of London’s most distinctive theatrical experiences, with audiences stepping inside one of the capital’s most historic civic buildings to witness the gripping courtroom drama unfold around them.

The creative team includes designer William Dudley, lighting designer Chris Davey, sound designer Mic Pool and casting director Ben Armstrong.
