New production images have been released for The Enormous Crocodile The Musical, the family-friendly stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s much-loved story.
The musical is currently touring the UK and will continue on the road until 22 August 2026, including a four-week summer season at Lyric Hammersmith.
Chelsea Da Silva stars as The Enormous Crocodile, alongside Precious Abimbola as Trunky the Elephant, Jordan Eskeisa as Humpy Rumpy the Hippopotamus, Ciara Hudson as Roly Poly Bird and Marienella Phillips as Muggle Wump the Monkey.
René Francalanza and Eleanor Ambekar appear as Swings.

The story follows The Enormous Crocodile as he creeps through the jungle dreaming up devious plans for a very greedy lunch, only to be challenged by the other jungle creatures who must find the courage to stop him.
The Enormous Crocodile The Musical features toe-tapping tunes by Ahmed Abdullahi Gallab, a book and lyrics by Suhayla El-Bushra, and additional music and lyrics by Tom Brady.
The production is developed and directed by Emily Lim, with co-direction and puppetry design by Toby Olié, and set and costume design by Fly Davis.
Puppetry is co-designed and supervised by Daisy Beattie, with casting by Annelie Powell CDG, choreography by Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu, lighting by Jessica Hung Han Yun and sound design by Tom Gibbons.
Associate direction is by Tash Holway and Blythe Stewart, with associate puppetry direction by Michael Jean-Marain.
The show was originally co-produced by Roald Dahl Story Company, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and Leeds Playhouse, and is suitable for ages three and up.
