Producers Vicky Graham, Birmingham Hippodrome and Aria Entertainment have released a brand-new song from the multi-award-winning musical Hot Mess as the production enters its final week at The Other Palace.
The new track, “One in a Trillion”, is performed by Morgan Gregory and has been released on Spotify ahead of the show’s final performance on Sunday 6 September 2026.
Created by the award-winning duo behind 42 Balloons, Jack Godfrey and Ellie Coote, Hot Mess reimagines the climate crisis as a fast-paced romantic comedy between Earth and Humanity.
The musical follows a love story billions of years in the making, charting the relationship between Earth and Humanity as it evolves from passion and optimism to conflict and chaos.
The current London production stars Danielle Steers as Earth, with Morgan Gregory as Humanity, following the show’s earlier success at the Edinburgh Fringe and Southwark Playhouse.
Vicky Graham said on behalf of the producers: “It has been incredibly exciting to see audiences embrace Hot Mess throughout this London run, and we’re so proud of everything Jack, Ellie and this brilliant company have achieved.
‘One in a Trillion’ was newly created for this production at The Other Palace, and Morgan Gregory makes it a true showstopper with his incredible vocals.
Releasing the track as a single feels like the perfect way to celebrate these final performances in London, and to give audiences another piece of the show to take away with them.

“One in a Trillion” features music and lyrics by Jack Godfrey, with Godfrey also serving as music producer and co-orchestrator alongside Joe Beighton.
The production is directed by Ellie Coote and features choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento, set design by Shankho Chaudhuri, lighting design by Ryan Joseph Stafford and sound design by Paul Gatehouse.
Hot Mess continues at The Other Palace until Sunday 6 September.
