New Wolsey Theatre has revealed that its 2026 Rock’n’Roll pantomime will be Cinderella, running from 20 November 2026 to 16 January 2027.

The beloved Ipswich tradition began in 2001 with Cinderella, making this year’s title a celebratory return to the show that started it all. The production will once again blend bold characters, big belly laughs and the trademark live music performed on stage by the cast. Written by Vikki Stone, who also penned last year’s Beauty and the Beast, the pantomime promises a high energy festive night out packed with chart hits, jokes and joyful chaos.

For those unable to visit in person, the theatre’s popular livestream will return. A £30 watch party pass will allow families to enjoy the pantomime from home on multiple dates throughout the run.

Accessible options will include Audio Described, Captioned, BSL interpreted and Relaxed or Dementia friendly performances, plus Touch Tours. The ruder Late Night Specials will also return on Friday evenings at 9pm for audiences aged 18+, with one of these editions livestreamed for the first time.
