OffWestEnd Awards 2026 to Be Broadcast Live for the First Time

Annual ceremony to feature live performances and global online broadcast from Central Hall Westminster

The OffWestEnd Awards will make history this year as The Offies 2026 is broadcast live for the first time, in partnership with The Theatre Channel and Chewboy Productions.

The ceremony, taking place on 30 March at Central Hall, Westminster, will include a full programme of live performances celebrating the diversity and ambition of independent theatre.

Audiences worldwide will be able to watch the entire event online, marking a major step in the awards’ evolution.

       

The live broadcast will stream from https://thetheatrechannel.com, expanding on last year’s Winner’s Room stream and offering greater access to the OffWestEnd community. Pre registration is now open.

This year’s Offies will be hosted by Drag Race star Divina de Campo, who will also perform an original parody musical number written for the ceremony.

Other performances announced include Rowan Armitt-Brewster, Lennie Longworth and Samuel Cunningham with a movement piece from A Brief Case of Crazy, Ilan Evans performing “Nature Boy”, and Martin Kaspar Orkestar presenting his signature one-man-band set.

Gerel Falconer will perform a section from Tones, while Jordan Luke Gage and Daniel Krikler will offer a preview of new musical Redcliffe.

Denholm Spurr, Director of OffWestEnd, said: “Live performance is at the heart of what the Offies celebrate – that shared, unrepeatable experience between artists and audiences. This year’s programme reflects the incredible range and creativity across OffWestEnd theatres, and with the introduction of a live broadcast we’re excited to be able to share that energy with audiences far beyond the room.”

The OffWestEnd Awards have a history of recognising innovative theatre, with previous winners including Baby Reindeer, Fleabag and Operation Mincemeat.
