Producers have announced a sixth booking extension for Paranormal Activity at the Ambassadors Theatre, with the West End production now running through to 27 February 2027.
Alongside the extension, a special late-night Halloween performance has been added on Saturday 31 October, beginning at 10.30pm and taking audiences through to the witching hour. The additional performance joins the previously scheduled Halloween shows at 2.30pm and 7pm.
Based on the iconic horror film franchise created by Oren Peli and brought to the screen by Blumhouse and Solana Films, the stage adaptation is written by Levi Holloway and directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett.
The extension comes as the production continues its international success. Following its original Leeds Playhouse run and first West End season, Paranormal Activity embarked on a North American tour before opening a 20-week Broadway engagement at New York’s August Wilson Theatre this summer. The show also launched a major UK and Ireland tour from Richmond Theatre in September.
The current West End cast features Ty Fanning as James, Ami Okumura Jones as Lou, Kirsty Bushell as Etheline Cotgrave and Pippa Winslow as Carolanne.
Set in London, the story follows James and Lou as they attempt to leave their past behind by relocating from Chicago, only to discover that some forces cannot be escaped.
Described by Metro as “relentlessly frightening – arm-clutchingly, stranger-embracingly so”, the production blends cinematic storytelling with live theatrical effects to create an immersive supernatural experience.
The creative team includes Fly Davis as Set and Costume Designer, Chris Fisher as Illusions Designer, Anna Watson as Lighting Designer, Gareth Fry as Sound Designer, Luke Halls as Video Designer, with casting by Stuart Burt CDG and Ginny Schiller CDG.
From week commencing 4 January 2027, the production’s weekday matinee performance will move to Thursdays at 2.30pm.
