The West End production of Paranormal Activity has extended its run at London’s Ambassadors Theatre for a fifth time, with tickets now on sale for performances from 9 November 2026 to 2 January 2027.
The extension follows a remarkable period of growth for the stage adaptation, which recently opened a 20-week Broadway engagement at the August Wilson Theatre after a successful North American tour. The production also launches a major UK and Ireland tour this week, beginning at Richmond Theatre.
Written by acclaimed playwright Levi Holloway and directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett, Paranormal Activity is inspired by the iconic horror film franchise created by Oren Peli and brought to the screen by Blumhouse and Solana Films.
Currently playing its second West End season at the Ambassadors Theatre, the production has built a reputation for delivering intense supernatural suspense through a theatrical experience that blurs the line between cinema and live performance.
The cast is led by Ty Fanning as James, alongside Ami Okumura Jones as Lou, Kirsty Bushell as Etheline Cotgrave, and Pippa Winslow, who returns as Carolanne following her acclaimed performances in Leeds and during the show’s original West End season.
The story follows James and Lou as they move from Chicago to London in an attempt to leave the past behind. Their fresh start is quickly disrupted by a chilling discovery that places are not haunted, people are.
Levi Holloway’s stage adaptation presents an entirely new story set within the world of Paranormal Activity, combining psychological horror, domestic unease and immersive theatrical storytelling.
Barrett brings his distinctive visual style to the production, supported by a creative team that includes Fly Davis (set and costume design), Chris Fisher (illusions), Anna Watson (lighting design), Gareth Fry (sound design), Luke Halls (video design), Stuart Burt CDG and Ginny Schiller CDG (casting), and associate director Anna Marshall.
Following its original premiere at Leeds Playhouse and its first West End engagement, Paranormal Activity toured North America before opening on Broadway in August 2026, further cementing its international success.
The production is recommended for audiences aged 15 and over.
