Casting has been announced for the UK and Ireland tour of Paranormal Activity, with the hit stage adaptation set to open at Richmond Theatre on 5 September 2026.

The production will star James Bye as ‘James’ and Hannah Sinclair Robinson as ‘Lou’, alongside Jo Castleton as ‘Etheline Cotgrave’ and Caroline Faber as ‘Carolanne’.

Written by Levi Holloway and directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett, the show is inspired by the hugely popular horror film series and brings a new story to the stage.

Following its success in the West End, where it returns to the Ambassadors Theatre from 11 August, the production will tour across the UK and Ireland through to June 2027.

The story follows a couple who relocate from Chicago to London in an attempt to escape their past, only to discover that “places aren’t haunted, people are”.

Praised for its atmospheric storytelling and immersive theatricality, the production blends live performance with techniques inspired by cinema to create a deeply unsettling experience.

The show has already toured North America and will continue its global journey with a Broadway season at the August Wilson Theatre from 14 August 2026.

Described as a “relentlessly frightening – arm-clutchingly, stranger-embracingly so” experience, Paranormal Activity has captivated audiences with its intense and intimate take on the modern ghost story.

The creative team includes set and costume designer Fly Davis, illusion design by Chris Fisher, lighting by Anna Watson, sound by Gareth Fry and video design by Luke Halls.

After opening in Richmond, the tour will visit cities including Glasgow, Birmingham, Salford, Leeds, Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh and Dublin among many others.
