The Peking Opera Gala evening is an exceptional opportunity to experience an array of famous Peking Opera scenes highlighting the various performance aspects of this glorious artform; music, song, mime, acrobatics, stage-combat, exquisite costumes and painted faces. Featuring performances by the celebrated Peking Opera artists Yu Kuizhi and Li Shengsu including the famous ‘The Drunken Imperial Concubine’ scene.
Warrior Women of Yang – 28th November 2019
The rarely seen spectacular Warrior Women of Yang is a story of grief, courage, patriotism and family loyalty. A cast of over fifty will mesmerize you with music, song, mime, exquisite costumes and painted faces whilst they terrify you with amazing stage combat and acrobatics. This show was last performed in London in 2015, obtaining fabulous reviews and an invitation to appear on The One Show. We are delighted to be bringing back to London this Peking Opera masterpiece.
