Massaoke A night at The Musicals

Massaoke A night at The Musicals

After critically acclaimed reviews and star turnouts at their previous experiences, Massaoke, the UK’s smash hit sing-along band, are excited to unveil their brand new show – ‘A Night At The Musicals’. Making its London debut at Camden’s KOKO on Friday 1 February 2019, tickets are available to purchase now on Ticketweb.

This is the very first show of its kind – your chance to sing along with a fantastic and versatile live band, guided by giant video lyrics, as they raise the curtains on all the hits from the most well-loved musicals. Shows will include Mamma Mia!, The Greatest Showman, Grease, Frozen, Dirty Dancing, Evita, Cats, Phantom Of The Opera, The Lion King and many more. Doors will open at 6pm, and the show will start at 7.45pm.

There’s no karaoke spotlight here. The entire crowd is the star of this show, singing together in celebration of all the best-loved musicals from stage and screen. You don’t have to be a brilliant singer to enjoy Massaoke either; it’s all about sharing your love of music with a huge audience of other like-minded people. The result is set to be a hugely fun night out!

The Massaoke band know how to get a crowd going like no one else. Thousands have sung along with them every Friday night at The Scoop on London’s Southbank for the last three summers, as well as electrifying shows at festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude and the Edinburgh Fringe. This is in addition to roof-raising performances to audiences of thousands internationally in the likes of Australia, the U.S. and Europe, establishing Massaoke as one of the most exhilarating acts to see live.

Massaoke’s main rabble-rouser and keyboardist Mark Nilsson said, “We’ve been wanting to put on a musicals-based show for ages. There’s so much variety, from the classic West End shows, amazing Disney films, jukebox musicals like Mamma Mia! and We Will Rock You, and movie blockbusters like Moulin Rouge and The Greatest Showman. They all just make you want to sing along!”

Mat Morrisroe, Massaoke’s drummer, added, “We can’t think of a better place for our new show’s London debut than Camden’s iconic KOKO. Not only is it our favourite venue in London, but the walls are steeped with over a century’s worth of theatre and musical history, so it feels like the perfect fit for this show.”

Massaoke’s ‘A Night At The Musicals’ will take place on Friday 1 February 2019. Tickets are available to purchase now on Ticketweb.
