What’s the big deal about Shakespeare? Join us and find out why we’re still obsessed with him, 400 years after he died. Did you see Game of Thrones or The Lion King? When did you last say foregone conclusion, complain you were being eaten out of house and home or tell a knock knock joke? See, he’s everywhere!

The Globe Players are experts at highly accessible and entertaining Shakespeare for young people and families.

Featuring a cast of five, and scenes from his best loved plays including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ’The Tempest,’ Twelfth Night, Romeo & Juliet, Richard III and Macbeth, we take you on a journey through his words and world, featuring plenty of magic, scandal, love and gore for all the family.

The Globe Players Present: The Play’s the Thing is at The New Normal Festival 22nd and 23rd August 2020.  Tickets are on sale here.
