The Three Inch Fools

The Three Inch Fools

The Three Inch Fools, five actors with all manner of musical instruments, present an inventive take on Shakespeare’s rib-ticklingly good comedy of old-fashioned trickery and mistaken identity and the infamous story of whirlwind romance and bitter tragedy.

This summer, The Three Inch Fools take to the road for the third year running, touring their brand new productions of Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet. The Three Inch Fools are a five-strong troupe of actors with all manner of musical instruments, travelling with set, props, costumes and camping gear, performing a highly imaginative and vibrantly musical take on Shakespeare’s plays.

The Fools perform Shakespeare in almost any kind of setting – to date, they have performed at castles, stately homes, gardens, churches, market places, village greens, an old fire station, a medieval crypt, a crowded pub and a garlic farm – all the world’s a stage!

The Three Inch Fools will be performing Twelfth Night at St. Mary Aldermanbury’s Garden on 1st June at 7.00 pm. This performance is an outdoor performance. Audience are invited to bring picnics from 6.00 pm and are invited to view Shakespeare’s First Folio in the Guildhall Library before the performance starts.

Romeo & Juliet will be performed at Eastbury Manor House on 9th June at 7.00 pm. This performance is an outdoor performance. Refreshments will be available from 6.15 pm.
