Producer Melting Pot has released new production photography from the major UK and Ireland tour of Paranormal Activity, the stage adaptation inspired by the globally successful horror film franchise.
Written by Levi Holloway and directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett, the supernatural thriller opened at Richmond Theatre earlier this month and will continue touring across the UK and Ireland until June 2027.
The production stars James Bye as James, Hannah Sinclair Robinson as Lou, Jo Castleton as Etheline Cotgrave and Caroline Faber as Carolanne.
Originally developed at Leeds Playhouse, the production became a West End hit at the Ambassadors Theatre and has since returned for a further extended season in London, running alongside the current tour.
The story follows James and Lou, who relocate from Chicago to London in an attempt to escape their past. Their fresh start proves short-lived as unsettling events begin to unfold around them.
Inspired by the iconic film series, the stage production presents a completely new story that explores psychological terror through live theatre, immersive staging and innovative theatrical effects.
Barrett directs the production, with Holloway bringing his distinctive horror storytelling to the stage following the success of Grey House on Broadway.
The creative team includes set and costume designer Fly Davis, illusion designer Chris Fisher, lighting designer Anna Watson, sound designer Gareth Fry, video designer Luke Halls and casting director Ginny Schiller CDG.
Alongside the extensive UK and Ireland tour, Paranormal Activity continues its international success. After touring North America, the production opened a 20-week Broadway engagement at the August Wilson Theatre in August 2026.
The stage adaptation is based on the original Paranormal Activity films, first written and directed by Oren Peli and brought to the screen by Blumhouse and Solana Films. Since the first film’s release in 2009, the franchise has become a worldwide horror phenomenon.
Paranormal Activity is currently touring the UK and Ireland, with upcoming stops including York, Woking, Cheltenham, Canterbury, Birmingham, Norwich, Salford, Brighton, Bath and Leeds, before continuing through 2027.
