Francesca Moody Productions has announced that Reece Shearsmith, Hugh Skinner and Josh Finan will join the guest artist line-up for Tim Crouch’s An Oak Tree at The Other Palace, running from 7 October to 15 November 2026.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential plays of the 21st century, An Oak Tree sees a different guest artist join Crouch on stage for every performance without having read or rehearsed the play beforehand.
Josh Finan, known for Say Nothing and The Responder, will appear on 17 October (matinee), while Hugh Skinner, whose screen credits include W1A and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, will perform on 4 November.
Reece Shearsmith, best known for Inside No. 9 and The League of Gentlemen, joins the production on 6 November.
The newly announced performers join an extensive line-up of guest artists already confirmed for the run, including Hammed Animashaun, Bessie Carter, Rosalie Craig, Sacha Dhawan, Dónal Finn, Sean Gilder, Brian Gleeson, Suranne Jones, George Fouracres, Sophie Melville, Tom Mothersdale, Clare Perkins, Tanya Reynolds, Juliet Stevenson, Rhashan Stone, Gemma Whelan, Olivia Williams and Ria Zmitrowicz.
Since its premiere in 2005, An Oak Tree has been performed hundreds of times across more than 19 countries, with more than 350 performers taking part in its unique format.
The production forms part of Francesca Moody Productions’ season at The Other Palace, which also includes Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going to Happen and Garry Starr: Classic Penguins.
Francesca Moody Productions is responsible for originating two of the most successful stage-to-screen success stories of recent years, Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, and continues to champion distinctive new theatrical voices.
